Recording

The Clerk’s office is responsible for the recording and housing of all permanent records.  The Clerk’s office houses records which date back to 1785.  The most commonly filed records include deeds, mortgages, encumbrances, plats, wills and miscellaneous documents.

The Fee Schedule and Recording Format Standards for document recording is available here.

All records are available at our office for public viewing or may be accessed via our Online Access Portal.
